  • Richmond Town Hall is open Monday - Friday, 9am-4pm, except legal holidays. Some Town Departments close for lunch from Noon - 1pm.

  • Town Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7pm except for the months of July and August when there is only one regular meeting.

  • Richmond residents may obtain a placard from the Town Hall by coming in with the registration of the vehicle that will be used at the transfer station. Vehicles must be registered to a Richmond or Hopkinton address in order to obtain a placard.

    A temporary pass may be issued for new residents who have not yet registered their vehicle at the Department of Motor Vehicles with a Richmond address and can provide proof of residence. The Town of Richmond does not issue temporary permits to Hopkinton residents, however, temporary passes for Hopkinton residents may be obtained at the Hopkinton Town Hall.

  • Tax payments are due on September 7th. Tax bills over $100.00 can be paid quarterly on or before September 7th, December 7th, March 7th and June 7th.

  • The Town of Richmond accepts payments in the form of cash, check or credit card*.

    *There is a processing fee for credit card payments. The fee varies depending on the department.

  • Yes, there are multiple notaries at Town Hall. There is no fee.
