Registering to vote gives you the ability to participate in local, state, and federal elections.
To register to vote in the Town of Richmond, you must:
- Be a United States citizen
- Be a resident of the Town of Richmond
- Be at least 16 years old (you must be at least 18 years old to vote)
- Not be in a correctional facility upon a felony conviction
- Have registered 30 days prior to the election or referendum
