Town Council
The Richmond Town Council consists of five members, elected from the town at-large to serve for a term of two years.
Requests to be placed on the Town Council agenda must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s office by 4pm on the Wednesday prior to the meeting.

Meetings
Richmond Town Council meetings take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month (exceptions noted in meeting schedule below) at 6 p.m. in Town Council Chambers at the Richmond Town Hall, 5 Richmond Townhouse Road, Wyoming, RI 02898.
Town Council Rules of Procedure
All meetings are open to the public, except those exempt under the provisions of Title 42, Chapter 46, of the Rhode Island General Laws.
Most meetings also have an option to view and participate remotely.
Viewing a Meeting via Zoom
The agenda and other meeting documents will be posted on the town’s website, www.richmondri.com. From the left side of the home page, go to “agendas and minutes.” Click the + symbol next to “Town Council.” Click the + symbol next to “Town Council Agendas.” Click on the agenda you wish to view. The Zoom information is at the top of the agenda.
Broadcasts
Recorded council meetings can be viewed anytime on ClerkBase by clicking on "Town Council", then "Town Council Minutes" and selecting the date you wish to view. When meetings are available for viewing, "play" buttons will be displayed next to each agenda item.
